Galaxy s20 ultra ATE4 update

Since this June security update the battery has been draining faster and apps are using more percentage for example Spotify use to use 0.5-1.0 % now with the update its using 9% most of the time anyone having this happen on they're phone

Hey there @Vince82, I hope you're doing well.

 

After a software update, if you have any issues such as battery drain, I'd suggest clearing your system cache. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Bixby / Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select.
  8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

This should help. Please note that a second June update is pushing to select carriers already and if you haven't gotten it yet, should be soon.
