Why when I go back to proof text after I use voice typing in my Google Calendar and click where I need to make a correction does it immediately jump way, way down the page and I am forever having to go way back up to find my place again and as soon as I do it, it does it again and again and again and again as soon as I click where I need to make EVERY correction. Ad nauseum. But even though my screen jumps way down, the cursor is always in the right place. I am wasting a huge amount of time because I'm spend entirely too much time trying to find where my stupid cursor is. So, my big question is what is making it jump? And how do I fix it? Thank you in advance for your comments. I would surely appreciate any suggestions you have.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone, using Android 13.
It's Twinless Twin again. The screen jumping is getting worse. This time I was in my Logos Bible app and hand typing notes since I was in church and couldn't use voice typing and I can't begin to tell you how many times that instead of the cursor staying in place and the screen jumping, as I explained before, this time it is jumping in the middle of a word, usually the last character of a word, and it is taking that character and jumping all the way to the very top left of my notes and typing it there where the heading is and every time I try to go back to the bottom to add the missing character to the word, it jumps all the way back to the top again. So far the only way I have been able to correct and add the last character of a word is to do a carrier return with the last letter of that word on another line and if I then go back and do a backspace, it will st last add it to the end of the word. And I have had to do that ad nauseam this morning. I still need to do a factory reset but as I said in another post, a bunch of files that I see on my smartphone don't show when I try to transfer them to my PC and no one I have talked to anywhere has been able to tell me how and, of course, have suggested me getting Cloud storage. My research shows that Google Drive is the best but even when I looked at the Google Drive that is already on my smartphone, it doesn't show those other files either. And even if I was to replace this 2-1/2 year old phone, those files wouldn't copy over to the new phone. So I'm killing myself making corrections to this phone. I obviously don't mean that literally. It is consuming too much of my time and no matter how much I try I can't find a resolution.
