I have a Galaxy S20+. Just updated the OS. Got the new annoying popup for Jibe chat features using RCS. I choose not to use it but it simply won't take no for an answer. All online advice does not work to remove this repeated popup. Such as go to messages, settings, chat features etc. Chat features is dimmed and not accessible. Also no advanced tab there either. Please help me turn this off completely. After reading it's disclosures I choose not to allow my texts or messages or possibly calls be shared by whom they choose or censored for that matter. The decisions are delegated to a third party I do not trust or ask to have any access to my information, period.

Galaxy S20I have been having the same issue with my S21 for a couple days. After exhausting every possible solution and contacting Samsung customer support, I was forced to switch to Google's message app and disable chat features after already having it activated. I can't say I'm happy with this solution though...

Galaxy S20So I honestly don't know if it's a Samsung app issue not playing nice with Google side or Google just expected everyone to accept it and failed to test their own decline button or what.
Another thing folks are recommending, is to install Google carrier services. But the problem, I don't want anything to do with them and their *new* chat program, at all. So that's not a fix.
So really need help here samsung.
S21 ultra and updated on 8/30/21. Problems since then.

Galaxy S20I can definitely understand how frustrating this can be. Jibe is the platform used by Google for its chat services. It is required to accept the permissions to use the services of that app. Here is a link to the terms of service from Google. https://jibe.google.com/policies/terms/ You are welcome to submit a report in the Members app with feedback.
Be sure to click " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
