Korean Version Samsung S20+ 5G not functional under new AT&T 3G to 5G

I have a Galaxy S20+ 5G in the Korean version and the model number is not under the list of AT&T phones that will work under the new 5G service. I was wondering if anyone knows what other Cellular company that can provide service for international or Korean phones in USA? I did not think this transition from 3G to 5G would affect my 5G device but sadly it does since AT&T puts restrictions regarding this matter and only certain USA phones with 4G and up can function under their network.

@Leah_ Have you talked with AT&T to see if they can add your phone info to a list of 5G capable phones?

No, I didn't. I didn't know if you can since Korean 5G phones probably runs differently from USA. I will contact AT&T and see if it is possible.

I'm sure that att can add your phone on their system. Is your phone unlocked Korean version or it's locked on Korean network

I also have S20+ korean version, unlocked. AT&T stopped service after 3 months. Any other carrier which supports?

I went to T-Mobile and my phone works great.

Hi Leah,

Is your T-Mobile line still working? I have a Canadian S22 Ultra and my AT&T USA line got disconnected last Friday because of the 3G sunset. As for your S20, Samsung did not provide my non US S22 ultra model number to AT&T. I'm being told by AT&T that they can't add the model number to their compatibility list unless Samsungs provides it. I'm wondering if what happened to me last Friday also happened at the same time to others, irrespective of the network provider.

Yes, my T-Mobile line is still working. When I first switch over to T-Mobile , of course the phone works, just that it recognized my phone as unknown but some weeks later when I logged into the app for T-Mobile , my phone is recognized as the s20+ as it should be.
