For my Galaxy S20, after a recent update, in March 2023, the accessibility feature for magnification now opens a magnification window. When the shortcut, for accessing magnification, is set to triple-tap, then all keyboard entries (from any selected keyboard), or any button-tapping on the device, is delayed almost 0.5 seconds.
I was able to disable the triple tap, and use the accessibility button at the bottom of the screen to access magnification, and the keyboard delay is gone.
Thanks for this tip. I have the same issue on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I connected to support. All they did was Google the problem and tell me to uninstall apps in safe mode. Disabling triple tap magnification was the solution. Now, let's get this fixed, Samsung.
