Galaxy S20So, I have an S20 Ultra 5G and the one ui 3/Android 11 update has removed native video calling and instead is using Google Duo.
My question is, is this a move by T-Mobile in order to push customers into using Google Duo or did Samsung decide to remove it? U and U1 devices seem to have it removed so I'm assuming this is a move by t-mobile which is trash because being able to switch seamlessly between voice and video calls is much better than needing to hang up with a voice call just to use Google Duo.
If this is Samsung's decision, please bring native video calling back!

Galaxy S20Video calling is a carrier provided service. If the carrier doesn't offer the service you can use Duo. Samsung has provided integration so that Duo can become an integral part of the experience.

Galaxy S20Yes, i understand. The reason I'm asking is because other devices still provide native video calling without Duo so I'm wondering who's responsible for it being removed from Samsung devices on one ui 3.

Samsung does not provide any video calling on any device. On the carriers where it looks native, it is provided by that carrier.

Galaxy S20I'm also disappointed with android 11, android 10 is much much ,better. why samsung removed Video Call feature in contact. The main difference from other phones of samsung was video call. now this phone became rubbish. Why I should now by samsung. Xiomi parameters and working much much better than samsung. Company just made own product rubbish. Samsung works slow than Xiomi. I bought samsung due to video call. Personally I am going to sell it and buy Xiomi. Why and how carrier offers video call at android 10 not at android11. I n our country this service is working currently On android 10. How I can delete android 11 and bring back 10.
