Galaxy S20Hello Samsung fans. I am a not-very-technical person who recently ditched his iPhone for a Samsung s20. For the most part I have loved this new phone and certainly there is no going back to Apple ever again. Unfortunately though, I am traveling and having great difficulty which I never experienced when I was an Apple user. I traveled from Canada to Honduras and purchased a local SIM. I've had no problem using cellular data and I can make and receive phone calls but I'm absolutely unable to send local text messages. I've tried with and without the 504 area code, I've tried prefixing with 1504, I have shown what I'm doing to expats and to locals and nobody has been able to offer me any help. I feel like I must have done something wrong to be in such a jam. When traveling with my iPhone all I ever did was pop in my new SIM and voila, texting and phone services started working right away. Can anyone offer me a pointer?

Galaxy S20I can definitely understand how frustrating this may be. Regrettably, support for non-US models is very limited. We suggest reaching out to a support team in your area for further assistance. You can do so by using the following link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html Thanks!
