No longer able to save photos via Facebook messenger

I use Facebook messenger app as default. 

When friends send a picture to me from there cells I usually will save it. And I can view photo on my camera photo. But lately I get message, can't save image. Ps if I get a photo from Facebook to Facebook messenger I can save those images. Only won't save from phone contacts. 

Can someone figure that out.

@problemmessage Sounds like you may want to reach out to the Facebook Messenger development team.

^ what LongHiker said... check with Samsung Messages and Google  Messages to see that it's only happening on FB messenger app.
