When i try and move my photos from one album to another, it copies them. Sometimes a photo might move but for the most part it just copies it over to the new album. It took me a few times to realize what it was doing. Sooooo now ive got a lot of the same photos now. 🤦:male_sign:
@userooSleRBgv6 First, be sure that you aren't worrying about what is in the Recents album. This seems to show all your photos regardless of the album. But it isn't a duplicate it is just showing the photo which is in your album.
How are you moving the photos from one album to another?
In the Gallery:
if you don't want to duplicate the photo be sure to select "Move to album".
if you select "Copy to album" you will end up with duplicates
To find true duplicates:
Open the Gallery
Click the 3 line menu in bottom right corner
Click on Suggestions
Scroll down and find "Delete duplicate pictures". From here you can easily eliminate duplicate pictures.
and thanks for the tip on deleting dups. Side question. You know when you click that button to add media to a text? How do you keep it from automatically trying to pull from the recents album?
