Two questions, when changing background on portrait mode photos is that recompressing the jpeg each time?

Also, is there anyway to save more than one version?

I'm not sure what you're asking here; however, try the procedure yourself, then compare the bit size in the 'details'.

I'd like to be able to save multiple versions Screenshot_20210925-092704_Gallery_143641.jpg

Hi. Do you mean the wallpaper? I don't believe it recompresses. And what do you mean by save more than one version? You could screen shot it and edit it and save both as copies in the gallery.

No, editing the background blur in portrait mode.

Oh. Yes you can make a copy of different versions by going to the thumbnail, hold down on it, click more and click copy to album, then rename it. Go back to the original picture and click change background effect and apply. Now you have two different versions. The size does change.

Ah, good workaround. Wonder why save a copy isn't available like normal editing.
