My s20 fe 5g was purchased direct from Samsung unlocked. Model SM-G781U1. I have been trying to get 5g working. My carrier is convinced everything on their end is correct: SIM card, apn coverage. In Network modes option in Settings, I only get LTE/3g/2g (auto connect), 3g/2g(auto connect), 3g or 2g. I have tried the “special menu” to get 5g using the Samsung Band Selection app. But again there is no choice for any 5g options. It appears that I purchased a 5g phone from Samsung with no 5g! All suggestions are welcome!
That is what I have done. No 5g option are available to be selected. As I understand, if 5g is unavailable in your area, you should should still have the option of 5g/LTE/3g/2g (auto connect) which is a choice I do not get in Network Modes.
I have been through all of the selections with my carrier and recommendations from others as well. I appreciate your recommendations, but I have tried all.
