Galaxy S20Does every single Galaxy s20 Ultra get the crack in the back of the camera? Will a camera protector help it from doing so? I use an otterbox defender series pro case and so far, so good. I'm getting my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen.

Galaxy S20Same here. It cracked while sitting on a table, untouched. I actually heard it. Haven't contacted Samsung yet. But the amount of reports I'm seeing is very disappointing. Come on Samsung.....
Show some support for your products. This is clearly a design issue.

Galaxy S20I'm not suggesting you are lying, but I fail to see how glass can get a perfectly round hole in it on it's own, if the glass was to crack due to a manufacturing fault I would expect to see cracks not holes
Where was the phone when this occurred? And the shape of the edges of the hole look like they are pushing inwards towards the sensors, as if something external caused it like dropping it on a sharp object like a small stone
Again, I am not suggesting you are being untruthful but I can see it from Samsung's point of view, a lot of the complaints about the camera glass breaking look very similar to yours with the round hole that looks exactly like an impact hole

Galaxy S20I'm so excited to know that your camera glass will break. When it happens you will realize that there is such thing as a manufacturer defect. The camera glass is flawed. I don't know if it's flawed for every one of the galaxy S20 ultras but it was for mine and hopefully yours too.

Galaxy S20I believe you. The round hole is clearly directly over the moving lens. The lens broke the glass is what I suspect. Before you go to small claims court, go to the BBB and your state AG. I just got a call from samsung saying they received a call from the AG and would fix the phone, no charge. I did have a separeate issue that I sent it in for. The finger print sensor barely worked, didn't matter how many times I redid it or what finger I used, it would fail 1/3rd the time. Even when registering the fingerprint it could barely read it. But they refused to repair that because of the broken camera lens. I called BS and suspected that they cannot invalidate a warranty for some other unrelated issue. Just like a car complany cannot invalidate your power train warranty because you dented the fender.

Galaxy S20I purchased my phone in March and it has been a case since that time. I removed the case yesterday only to find the rear glass was cracked (my phone has not been dropped). In response to my issue, I was told that others had similar issues, yet it is not covered by Samsung. To say I'm disappointed is a huge understatement. An appointment was made to have it fixed which will cost approximately $119. In addition to that, I was told that if there are other issues with the phone, I will have to pay for that as well. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with the phone. I need to take it to a particular ubreakifix for it to remain under warranty. If I take it to one closer to me, which doesn't run diagnostic tests, the phone will no longer be under warranty. I was told that the phone is fragile by a rep. Samsung should reconsider this as these phones cost way too much to be labeled fragile. I've purchased Samsung phones for a really really long time, but this issue is making me reconsider my loyalty.

Galaxy S20Guess I lucked out... I was swapping my SD card and discovered a tiny hole and hairlines just in the bottom outer most rim of the mid range lens. Doesn't seem to be impacting the camera function though. Perhaps I'll reinforce it with some kind of bonding agent. I'll ask my materials science buddies.

Galaxy S20@userO8rV8Jhe7H- Would be interested to hear what your materials scientists think about why it broke.
