S20FE5G vibrates when I pick it up. Why?

New to Samsung. I notice, if my phone has sat for a while, when I pick it up it does a short vibration. 

Anyone know why?

If I put it down and pick it right up, it does not happen. 

Also, I typically lay the phone screen down, so do not know, yet, if that's a factor.

I never experienced that on my s20 fe 5g not sure to say weird or if there's a option enabled were it vibrates to let you know of a notification? All I'll say is keep monitoring it & if you're on that exchange time policy maybe exchange it for another

@EricJRW Check Settings -> Advanced features -> Motions and gestures

You probably have "Alert when phone picked up" enabled.

@LongHiker , that was it thank you. So many options on this phone. Maybe I need to go through the options  (menu) one by one. 

Is the manual any good? I guess I could download it and read through it.
