I am ready to update my Samsung Ultra 20 however there are no longer options for an SD card insert for additional space. I am not interested in cloud based/google
storages. I have used 128gb- 1tb SD cards for years in my Samsung devices and been very happy. I use high storage for photography. When I inquired about purchasing a new phone from Samsung there are no options available for me due to this very important feature being removed. The SD card insert feature and the camera are the only reasons I continue to purchase Samsung products. Now that there is not a SD card insert option I am forced to change companies and select different option where to take my business. This has been an issue in past for Samsung and lost many customers. I hope the company reconsiders this bad choice and begins to offer the much needed and desired option asap by adding the feature back to the mobile devices or offer 2tb and larger storage options. In the meantime goodbye and good luck. Sincerely, Longtime Customer

They make a really nice portable SSD hard drive that plugs into the bottom of your phone and it works really well for backing up your big pictures

As @Budtaster stated, external storage is your best bet if your want to stay Samsung. Otherwise pretty much the entire industry has moved on. The only flagship brand that still offers SD card support is Sony (they also offer headphone jacks) but silver complain their phones are outrageously priced.

As a photographer, the Tab S9 series might be of use to you as they have micro SD slots and I prefer to edit photos on those sure to their huge AMOLED screens and sPen.

Last, I personally prefer higher built in storage as UFS 4.0 is insanely fast compared to micro SD. There are often deals for free storage upgrades. I believe 512 is a free upgrade right now for the S23 Ultra.
