Has anyone else just randomly lose the ability to make or receive calls and texts and lose their internet connection as well? I spent 2.5 hrs on the phone with 4 techs yesterday and they solved nothing. Think it's just a lemon or does someone out there know what to do about this predicament?

Help! Thank goodness for wifi but I can't leave my house! Galaxy A50

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when you are unable to use primary functions on your device such as calls, text, and data. I would be happy to look into this further for you.

If you are having trouble sending or receiving messages, or they seem slow, it is usually an issue with the carrier or its service. Other times, iMessage may still be enabled if you just switched from an iPhone, which could make texts get stuck in limbo. Give this link a try for troubleshooting steps for text messages not sending or receiving: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001439/

If you are unable to make calls from your phone, there could be a problem with your phone's SIM card, damage to your phone, or an issue with your account or carrier. Follow the steps below to solve the problem: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001613/

If you have tried the troubleshooting steps provided, the next step would be to reach out to your carrier, as calls, text, and data are all carrier features.
