Still works on my s10+ 1TB running Android 12 UI 4.1 on AT&T.

Suggest that you wait for a patch or backup your data, which you should be doing anyway, factory reset the phone, and reinstall the update to see if that resovles the issue.

Best of luck.

Upon review my phone DOES NOT rotate 180 degrees in Google Maps.
I'm sorry for the misinformation.

The big question is WHY NOT???!!! As the OP stated, lots of us put the phone in the cup holder when using Maps. And Maps is a battery hog. If we don’t want to arrive with a depleted battery, we need to charge it.

Resting the phone on the USB connector can damage the cable and/or the phone and makes the phone prone to bouncing out of the cup holder.

So something that was working fine for so many people has now been broken with this update. I can understand reasons why some people may not want this, but please provide an option to enable it for those of us who need it.
