UI update animations issue

I updated my unlocked s20 running on TMO earlier today. On the previous version I had "reduce animations" enabled because I don't like all the animations as I use my phone and edge lighting worked fine. After the update I noticed the option is now called "remove animations". When I enabled it to disable the animations like before, my edge lighting no longer works.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone find a workaround?

Have you tried reducing your animation scaling through Developers options??

For me, animation scaling in Developers options is OFF.

Still, there is an animation when switching apps. I can't turn it off :persevering_face:
