Started the Smart Switch final transfer at Tmobile, it was stuck at 11 min, but the t-mobile worker said it will be fine. We had to leave. Tmobile employee said, it would be fine to leave. We traded the old phone, so she had to erase it before we left. 3 hours later it never moved from 11 minutes. Will I lose my data if I press stop???

You can try rebooting the phone. Most of your data should be stored in the samsung backup online. At least things like contacts, apps, and the like. Hopefully that will restore most if not all of your files. I can't guarantee that all of your files will be restored so I hope you have them backed up to another source like a flash drive.

How is the data being transferred? Is it wireless from the old phone or via usb flash drive?

It was wireless. It transferred everything. Then went into the "install" mode. Which by that point, the phones didn't have to be next to each other. That part never completed. It froze saying 11 minutes left.
