Sorry to tell you this, but having an unlocked phone on Sammy means your phone will get the updates after every carrier locked phone gets it. This is covered extensively in multiple forums for years now and it's kind of like an ongoing punishment of buyers of their unlocked phones for not buying a carrier locked phone with tons of bloatware. Another reason I left the Sammy mobile phone playground... Too many promises that they do not deliver on.
