A way to change the "bubbly" edges?

I did a search on the forums and man, this seems to be a hated feature by many (including myself). It's hard to determine where my levels actually are on the sliders, the bubbles close things off and are just generally unappealing to me. 

A couple suggestions for Good Lock, which I have, but it doesn't solve all the exaggerated rounded edges. I'm looking for something UI 6-ish, a soft square for texts, volume slider (all sliders), icons and app buttons. Someone had mentioned Good Lock will freeze dynamic app buttons like the calendar app, weather etc.. So, maybe something more functional?

Using "Sound Assistant" in the "Good Lock" app offers a bit of relief from pill sliders for the volume control.

Yeah. This latest UI changed and moved everything when I left the house. Thank God it did not rearrange the furniture or hide my toilet. If my toilet starts talking or waking me up with bubbles I'm selling everything 1/2 price. With my luck, i'll get a super speeding ticket and one for wreckless driving leaving town. But yes to something more basic and simplistic.🙏
