Seething as I type this so apologies for the bluntness. Just updated my phone for June 2025. Spotify no longer shows playing tracks in the 'combined' pull down bar, as pictured first. This is embarrassingly unrefined and is really annoying to change any song. Feels like 5 steps back from streamlined. I hope to god this is a bug, because theres nothing I can do to fix this, nor return the lockscreen media controller that sat 3/4 up the screen. So many features in this update feel both needlessly complicated and egregiously babyproofed. It's like I'm now holding a childs toy with complex instructions on the back. Does anyone know if Apple phones have a much more streamlined spotify widget system?

Consider checking out the settings in the quick tray. Your issue is not out an issue since the media player does work with Spotify, and you can rearrange the apps. Not a bug and not 5 steps back. Sometimes, checking out information about your device is beneficial.
