I want to keep my warranty intact and knox running fine, so I'm nervous of doing anything that could accidentally trip knox. I'm never going to root my phone or unlock the bootloader, but is installing third party apps allowed? Apps not in the Google play store or Samsung store. YouTube Vanced comes to mind, it's got some nice features like auto skipping sponsors in videos, but it has to be installed outside of the playstore. Is that allowed? Will it trip knox and make me not able to use samsung pay? Thanks.

Third party apps or installing outside Google play or Galaxy Apps is allowed, followed by a strong word of caution, there are alot out there that are legit and well as alot the collect and share more info then needed. Everything is at user's risk. As far as Knox and warranty, as long as root or security of device is not tampered all is good.
