Galaxy S21I started using the Samsung Music app when I got the S8, and it worked just as well on my S10. I've also been purchasing music through iTunes for years, under the MPEG-4 (.m4a) audio format. These songs played just fine on my S8 and S10.
I recently upgraded to the S21 and used Smart Switch to transfer all of my music from the S10 to the S21. All of my old music plays normally. However, any music that was purchased (via iTunes) after I started using my S21 has issues with the audio cutting out and sounding very static-y about 30% of the time I select them with my Buds on. If I start playing the song on the speaker and then connect my Buds, audio cutting always follows. After clicking the song a few times, the song plays normally. However, these newly purchased songs are totally unplayable using Android Auto, as the audio cuts out every single time I select them.
I have re-installed the Samsung Music app and re-downloaded the songs with audio issues from iTunes multiple times, to no avail. How do I fix this? I assume nothing has changed in the way iTunes encodes their audio files since I got the S21, this happens over bluetooth and the speaker (therefore bluetooth isn't the issue), and all my old purchases play without any issues. I can't think of any explanation other than the S21 being the issue here.

Galaxy S21I would recommend reaching out to Apple to verify their files are compatible with the Android 11 update.

Galaxy S21I had the same problem on my s21. Recent itunes downloads had bad sound quality through bluetooth, and the phone's internal speaker. In researching the problem, I came across instructions for changing the file format. Gave it a try, and it worked! Switched from AAC to MP3. This may technically downgrade the sound quality of the file, but at least the song should play clearly on Android devices.
