Authentication message when opening Google Play

Why is this showing up when I try to open google play? I am signed into my google account. Please help!!!

Try removing the account that you used to login to the playstore with in settings. Then add it back in playstore.

I can't get passed this screen. I have removed and re added my account from my phone but that didn't work 😞

Sign into your Google account from your Gmail home page.

Try going into settings accounts and backups and remove the account from there and add it back also try going into apps and wipe the cache cache and memory from the Google play store you can find it inunder setting apps

I ended up uninstalling updates in the system settings. That made my google account photo show up and I looked at my settings and I noticed that biometric authentication was off. I turned it on using my password and it worked.

I guess it wanted me to sign back in??? Either way it works now. Thanks for trying to help!
