Battery level and charging indicator

The new UI has made it almost impossible for people with vision issues to tell what the battery level is and especially if the phone is successfully charging. Please update the battery icon to allow us to increase the size and color when the phone is charging. Maybe allow edge effects to home when charging and play a sound when charging stops for some reason

Anyone know if this is fixable?

It's not user-fixable. Workarounds are to use a battery widget or other battery replacement app (ex: PowerLine).

I've been using Powerline for a couple of months, and haven't had any problems. As much as I absolutely hate having to use a 3rd party app for such a basic phone function, it's better than not having any idea about my battery percentage.

Yup. Nice to have aesthetic options, too. I have mine set up as a gradient ring around the front cam.

I did already. I can't believe this isn't already something in the UI... Especially as almost everything else is configurable.

There have been many days that I have found my phone with only a tiny amount of battery left because it didn't connect to the charger correctly and it is almost impossible to tell if it is charging if your eyesight is failing.

It is the absolute worst part of Ui7, I hate it.

I have removed it all together on my Status bar using QuickStar a module from Goodlock in the Galaxy Store.

I found an amazing app called Battery Widget Reborn. It let me put a widget on my homescreen,lockscreen and AOD.
When charger there is a indicator in the middle.

What is also great is the static notification in my notification shade let's me monitor the temp of phone.
