Hello everyone!

I bought a pair of new U-Jays bluetooth headphones, they work great with my Samsung TV and Laptop but not with my S21. They connect fine with the phone and the confirmation "beep" is heard in the headphones but despite me cranking up the volume to max no sound is heard. The volume bar also acknowledges that it's connected to bluetooth.

I googled for a while and read that i should disable "Absolute Volume" in developer options but unfortunately that didn't help.

Any tips?

Have you tried resetting your network settings? Please know this will remove any saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks on your device.

Do you have the audio switch toggled on under your Bluetooth settings for that device?

I just started having the same issue with my S21 with headphones that were working. Says they're connected but when I use volume on side of phone it does nothing and has a circle with minus sign instead of volume bar.

I had the same issue, sound on calls none for media, and the fix was to go into the BT settings, click the settings button for my headset, turn off the slider for Audio, and then turn the slider for Audio back on.  No idea what it's problem was, but the audio reset through that action.
