Charging stuck at 83%

Hi, my S21 says it is fast charging, but it has not advanced past 83% for more than 30 minutes. It charged normally from about 15% to 83% before it got stuck. Can anyone suggest what steps I should take?

Have you restarted your phone? Ik that sounds simple and stupid, but a restart can fix many bugs in the system

You either need to restart your phone and maybe look it up. If you have no solution probably call support from Samsung help.

It could very well be telling the truth, your battery might be damaged and isn't charging all the way.

have you tried it in safe mode?

submit an error report via samsung members app (members app > + button > error report)

Thanks for all your replies! It's working again. Not sure why. I'll keep these suggestions in mind if the problem happens in the future.
