Solved: Edge Lighting not working with text - Samsung Community

I just got my galaxy s21 and I have enabled edge lighting. But when i get a text it doesn't work. My lock screen will appear and i see the message icon. Anyway to fix this?

In Settings -> Notifications -> Included apps, ensure that your messaging app is enabled.

all apps have been enabled. it still isn't working.

Check Bixby for an update. An urgent update was pushed Feb 03 which stated:

- Bug Fix: We've fixed there is no notification sound from some apps sometimes.

You want to be at least at version 3.0.53.2.

yes i have tried restarting and shutting off my phone. still not working.

yes i tried all of them. still not working. screen just wakes up every time I get a text.
