Are there any rumors or updates if Samsung messages will adopt RCS messaging services? Not a fan of Google messages, hoping for Samsung to hop on the wagon and join RCS.
Hello, handreasonn. Samsung Messages already supports RCS. You can enable it by opening the Messages app, tapping on the three vertical dots at the upper right corner, tap on Settings > Advanced messaging, and toggling on Advanced messaging. Do note, however, that this feature will only be available if your carrier supports RCS and will only work if the recipients you're messaging also have RCS enabled if they have the feature. Samsung is not done with Samsung Messages it is a carrier enabled feature and a lot of carriers like AT&T and TMobile for instance only allow RCS Messaging via Google Messages this is why they first started making Google Messages default and then not Pre-Installling on devices because people are confused by having 2 Messages Apps and then not being able to use RCS Messaging I myself have Spectrum/Verizon and have RCS Messaging using Samsung Messages
