I ordered an unlocked S21 Ultra on Amazon. The version I received has the Exynos chip. Does this chip work with Verizon? I haven't been able to get my SIM card to work and I'm wondering if it's because I need the Snapdragon version of the phone.

Does the phone support CDMA?
Those phones usually are international models (verify your model#) and ment only for GSM (At&t, Tmobile) not CDMA carriers like Verizon or Sprint.

Don't ever buy phones on Amazon. Most are 2nd hand, even repaired, refurbished, international versions from the re- sellers. Buy direct from Amazon if they even sell them.

@aidanrts I understand how frustrating this is. The Exynos version of the phone is an international version. You would need to verify with Verizon if the phone is compatible with their service. Regrettably, support for non-US models is very limited. If Verizon is unable to resolve your concern, I recommend reaching out to Amazon to see what options they may have.
