**First, I don't need help updating my phone -- I already updated it using my computer.

Question-- is there a way to fix the Software update program that's under settings? When I go to Settings > Software update > Check for new update, a message pops up towards the bottom that says "Software update is in progress." (See pic) But it's been saying that for months. So I used smart switch to update everything, hoping that would fix this issue as well, but it didn't. It also still lists the old update and date which are incorrect and doesn't match what is listed under Settings > About phone > Software Information. Any suggestions that might fix it? Or know if this is draining memory/battery/data? Thank you.

Maybe clear the cache for the software update??🤷‍♂️

Go to phone Settings > Apps. Click the filter icon (looks like a down arrow with three lines next to it; located just above the first app to the right), and turn on "Show system apps". Now scroll down to the "Software update" app (warning: your list of apps is now much longer by a magnitude or two; if you know how to use the side scrollbar, use it). Then click the app > Storage > Clear cache (button at bottom right of screen). Note that there might be two "Software update" apps, and I don't know which is which, only that one has permission to change system settings, and the other does not even have the option. Since it is only the cache to be cleared, I suggest doing so to both. I hope this might help.

I'm always very careful with my electronics and my Samsung Galaxy TAB A works Great but the past couple months when I plug in my wired earbuds, the sound comes out of my speakers and my mic doesn't work anymore on it. My wired earbuds work on all my other devices. I also air cleaned my jack, I looked in it with my flashlight there's no sign of anything wrong in there, I don't know what else to do. Would using SmartThings cause the issue? Thank you for any help.
