Galaxy S21/Sprint not downloading picture messages

I've cleared the cache of the messages app, checked/installes system updates and rebooted device. It's been working fine since 1/29 until today.

did you try clearing data as well ? did you try force stopping that app ?

I did force stop the app but was worried clearing the data would wipe all of my messages

it will but before doing it , you can go into messages and star ones you don't want to have removed.

also uninstall the app or latest update and reinstall it may work as well. but they will definitely delete all your messages for sure

ok, I'll try that tomorrow if it's still not working. I think it might be a carrier issue.

dumb question have you checked the play store or galaxy app.store to see if there's an update for your messaging app ?

if using the stock messaging app the update would be in galaxy app.store

my spr device has no issue receiving picture messages..try download samsung members app and submit a ticket.
once you open, click +, then click error report

Sprint currently is having issues as the networks are being phased to Tmobile..
Try this, Settings, System Update, Update Profile, Update PRL, Restart phone.
Also Tmobile is offering free Sim card exchanges if you have Network issues.
