Hi,

Is there an explanation as to why a phone marketed everywhere as a dual sim/esim has only 1 sim slot? Just to be clear, I bought this phone from a T-mobile store here in the USA and have had it for a month or two. I just bought a replacement sim tray that can hold 2 sim cards and it's not working. I've done some research and apparently my model number should support dual sim cards.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
Model #: SM-G998U

Supposedly the upcoming update to Android 12/One UI 4.0 will bring eSim capability to the S21 series. I sincerely hope this is the case and that the update is pushed out sooner rather than later.
