Hi, a black semi circle  adjacent to the camera cutout has appeared in the top of my galaxy s21+ display. It is evident when using apps, but does not appear in screen shots. It is about 4 mm in diameter.

I cannot remove it. Any options please?

See black semi circle. I guess it is likely dead pixels. Strange.

This is a wide spread issue with no solutions. Some say it's dead pixels. Amazing how "dead pixels" form in a perfect half circle at the top edges of our phones. This was clearly caused by an update and unfortunately we're all not sure which one caused it because it's not something that was immediately noticed. Google the problem and search 8mages and you'll find others with the same problem. But .. no solution or explanation found. Annoying.

Thanks for that. It clearly makes sense as why would all of us suddenly experience dead pixels of a similar geometric shape? Where is Samung technical help in all this?
