The above is one way. The other if you have the option. Open the dialer then tap on the three dots. go to settings->supplementary services->show your caller ID. choose never, always or carrier default.

Hmmm.... you may be right I don't recall for sure but it does block the number from being shown quick and easy.

I like the *67 method since you do that on a call by call basis.

carrier web page, sign in to your account, settings, and make adjustments there, even change what's shown on ID, block, discontinue or erase your line number.
