How to disable screen wake on notification

On one ui 7 I can't find a way to disable notifications from waking the screen when off. S21 Ultra

Settings >Lock Screen and AOD>Always on Display>When to Show

Wow I didn't know they had all these new options in AOD!

I set mine to new notifications and hopefully now it will just use that instead of waking my whole screen. I'll let you know if it works. Thanks!

You can go to the notification settings and either turn off lock screen notifications completely, or hit the notification popup style and slide off show even when screen is off. The AOD setting is only to control when to show the always on display. Has nothing to do with notifications.
