How to remove previous user Samsung account from S21?

I can't figure out how to change the email address of the previous owner of this phone that's on my Samsung profile. When I try to change it it says that email address already exist on Samsung account. Well that's the point I want to change it to my Samsung account.. can someone help direct me to fix this?

@kimmy1980 You need remove that person's Samsung account from your phone. Once that is done, you can add your Samsung account to the phone.

To remove that other account:

1. Open settings
2. Click on Accounts and backup
3. Click on Manage accounts
4. Click on their Samsung account 
5. Click on Remove account

Then you will be able to add your Samsung account to the phone.
