Thank you for that information. Have you tried resetting your network settings? Please know this will delete any saved Bluetooth and Wi-fi connections on your S21.

Here are the steps for that:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings

     > General management > Reset.
  3. Tap Reset network settings.
  4. Review the info then tap Reset settings If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. To confirm, review the info then tap Reset.

If you have tried resetting network connections the next step would be to try a different sim just to be sure it's not the sim card itself. You can reach out to your carrier and explain the situation, to see if they can provide an alternative sim card to make sure this isn't the issue.

If none of these resolve the issues, A Technician will need to evaluate the phone, and repairs take place.

Had the problem with the Note before. It maybe the internal connections are not fully connected, this may have been to accidental/incidental drop on ground (plausible cause). I returned and got another set, without altering price due to warranty and insurance.

To the OP.

It is possible the SIM is dead, check by looking for 4G LTE or 5G icon at the top. Is the cellular signal bar showing? are you able to browse web using cellular network? Have you tried re-seating the SIM?

If the answer is yes, then the issue is likely something the carrier will have to look into furthur. Contact your carrier to see if the issue is known to them and whether there is a fix already or not.

If they fail to help you out, then submit error report to Samsung Members after reproducing the issue.

Hi there, I would recommend reaching out to your carrier in regards to this. They would be able to issue you a new sim card and get you sorted out.
