How does the intelligent optimization feature actually work? I'm noticing more and more how it will correct background details such as the color of the sky through a window in the room or the exposure of what's on a TV in the background of a pet photo. I'm just starting to learn about photography, and I'm interested in what process this sort of auto-mastering feature goes through to make the end result look great without even having to edit.

I won't be able to get my hands on an actual camera for a while (tight budget at the moment), so I'm learning about the camera features on my phone for now. It's just so strange how the sorts of things the intelligent optimization will correct seemingly can't be achieved with regular editing. Is it a form of artificial intelligence, or is it actually editing aspects like exposure and color balances??

Thanks in advance!

Scene optimization does a good job, but there are times you might still want to edit a photo you've taken by tapping the :pencil: pencil on the bottom of the picture.
