Oh man, I updated my phone a couple of weeks ago and now I have to restart my phone a few times a day. Sometimes the buttons won't work, sometimes the touch screen, slow/no response, apps just half functions, etc etc. It's very frustrating 😕

Using an S21 Ultra. Is there anything to try before factory reset? I've looked around but haven't found too much.

I hope, and don't hope, I'm not the only one with these issues. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

after updating to One UI 5.0 (Android 13), if you haven't already done so, please try to clear the phone cache and run the repair apps option thru recovery mode.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

**I personally do this 3 times**

- Run the repair apps option and your device will restart.

This usually fixes bugs after updates. NOT GUARANTEED, but worth trying!

LMK if this has helped you!

Have you cleared your cache and repaired your apps?

If the issues are from the update itself then maybe wait until the next update and see what gets resolved and what isn't.

Man, I hope they release another update, if that is truly the issue. We'll see!
