I'm having issues mirroring my phone's screen to my Chromecast devices. None of my devices show up under Smart View and when I try to mirror my screen through the Google Home app, the connection fails immediately.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a Samsung issue or a Google issue (really doubt this is a Google issue).

it's a issue you have to give permission in order to mirror sharing

Go into settings and look for "privacy" or permission manager. From there, you should be able to set it to allow you to mirror

That's what I was wondering. Samsung Chat support had me reset all system settings and it worked after that.

Samsung dropped support for Chromecast on the Smart View (it's a pain in....) , it only casts to Samsung devices. As for the Google Home app, it works fine for me.

It is working fine for me now, but wasn't before I reset all settings as mentioned in the comment above.

I'm very annoyed with Samsung. They're making moves with their product lines to make them more like apple products. That is the WRONG direction Apple, oh I mean Samsung
