Links not clickable in texting apps

I initially thought this was an issue with my specific messaging app, but then I tried downloading Google Messages and it's going the same thing. The only texting app that actually recognizes links is the stock Samsung texting app, which is terrible

Reboot the phone and try it again. I've noticed this too. You could close it out or clear the cache but the easiest way would be reboot the phone.

I have. This has been going on for a couple weeks and I've tried everything short of a full factory reset to fix it
