I'm currently using the s21 ultra unlocked, I've had it since it first came out. It'd still in pretty good condition and still run smooth on tmobile network. I always have the s22u in red unlocked and it's on Verizon network, not planning to upgrade that.
I'm torn because I want to upgrade my s21u and I've been looking at the Galaxy z line. But I'm not sure if I want the fold or the flip. Are there any pros or cons. Tried searching the web but having seen anything. Would it be pointless to upgrade from the s21 since it still works perfectly fine. Also was playing around with the trade in Samsung offered me $600 towards the fold but only $280 towards the flip.
This is one of those "Buy what makes you happy" moments.
You're right, it technically makes no sense to update (notice I didn't say upgrade) to the Fold or Flip but if that's what you want then that's what you want 😉
If you want more OS updates, to me it would make more sense upgrading to the S23U.

Fold is nice because it offers the larger screen but I personally found it inconvenient to tote around vs a flip where it easily slides in my front pocket leaving room for a secondary device in my back without being super obvious I'm carrying around multiple phones. If you want a larger screen all the time then fold if not then you could do the flip. If I really wanted a new device I wouldn't trade in my s21 ultra for the flip nor the fold since having all 3 devices at one point it was generally the same day to day experience just a tweak here and there. If you can find it discounted it would be better
Great! I was leaning more to the flip because it is small and the screen looks similar to the s21 ultra. I think I may go look at them both and stores to get a better feel of them in my hands. I saw the fold once and did like the screen but I don't know if I really want the bulky look of it .
