Lost 5g connection after update

I did the software update on my Galaxy S21 ultra for Samsung One UI 5.1 and now I lose 5g connection and my calls go straight to voice-mail. I have to airplane mode on and off for it to work or I have to restart my phone. Anyone know how I can fix this? It's not my phone service and just got a new sim card 5 days ago.

Try turning off 5G and set to 4G/LTE/3G/2G mode. That fixed mine. If that doesn't help, contact your Carrier.
