Multiple Camera features not working on the S21 Ultra

I am using the S21Ultra 5G T-Mobile. I have the following three issues with the camera app:

1. Front camera portrait mode can not detect the face.

2. Moon shot doesn't work.

3. Front camera images look slightly washed out, not as contrasty as the S20Ultra despite having the same  40MP selfie camera.

Issue 1 & 2 disappear sometimes after a reboot but reappear.

Any fixes?

Have you tried this from the Safe Mode.  I don't experience any of those issues.

WOW! I just tried the safe mode and none of the issues exist. What can I do to fix this?

The issue was either brought over when you restored from backup when you originally set up the phone or one of the apps you installed is causing it.

Nothing is easy as you will have to eliminate each app as being the issue.

What I find is usually easiest is to Factory Reset the phone and do not restore your pp backup but rather add your apps one at a time until you find the culprit

Sometimes just the Factory Reset fixes things even when you restore the backup.

I think I found the culprit application which is gcam mod. I uninstalled it and the issue is gone.

Thanks a lot. I really didn't want to do a factory reset. That's why I had to find out.
