I've had this phone two months and it's driving me crazy.   I can be on one page and then it jumps to another one.  It won't stay on WIFI. I can't open apps,  It freezes up.  I've done everything I can think of to fix it. Don't know why it's doing this.   Please Help.

Thank you,

@userkV1COGBcZm Thank you for reaching out. With the issues you are describing, a complete backup and factory reset would be recommended. This is a good way to determine if there is a software issue or the problem is a defect in the phone. This is also recommended before having your phone evaluated by a service technician. If you are still experiencing problems after factory resetting the phone then a service evaluation is recommended. You can take the phone to the nearest uBreakiFix location, https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung, or send a private message with the full model code and IMEI number of the phone. http://bit.ly/2XERsky

Take it to a Samsung branch, they will fix it for you at no cost.

No they won't because there is no fix for all the S21 issues. Believe me, I know. Poor receive signal, WiFi Calling Kross turning itself off or won't turn on, web pages keep flashing on and off, etc. And Tech Support has been no help so far. <edit>

You can do a Google backup and a complete SmartSwitch backup to your PC so you won't loose anything.

Did you boot to Safe Mode and see if the problems persist?

For backup and restoration, even if asked from warranty repair techs, they will prefer not to restore from full backup if that is not absolutely needed.

Myself I'm having backup of course on google, but that is my last restore point if needed. If I do full factory reset, would recommend using another phone, move as much as possible to that phone with Smart Switch, do factory reset and move everything back. I prefer not moving apps during this, but reinstall those from play store when done.

I use another phone, but this maybe can be done also with your laptop or so.

And as I still use my S20 and did not change to S21, my pics etc are quite well safe in my SD card.

When troubleshooting I always also recommend not restoring a backup initially until you determine that the phone is either working or broken.  If it is working you can try a restore realizing that you *might* break it again.  Often times even when restoring a backup the phone just works after a Factory reset but I like to not restore initially until I'm sure.
