Galaxy S21
On a previous phone I owned there was an LED in the upper right corner of the display above the screen. This LED would blink if there were any notifications pending. This was a very good feature letting me know that my phone needed my attention without having to use the screen. Any negative affect on battery life was negligible.
Can this functionality be added to the S21U by just using several pixels in the upper right corner of its screen?

Unfortunately this feature was removed after the Note 9. There are some apps that utilize the display or the area around the selfie camera that light up yo signal a missed message.
