One UI 6.1 keeps needing to be installed (update loop)?

My S21 just received the 6.1 update and I installed it. After installation the phone starts normally but then it wants to install it again. I did that once but, after restarting, it still wants to install the update. I paused it and now it's telling me it will install it on Sunday 6/23. How do I terminate this loop?

Did it ever stop? I'm on a flip4 and I've downloaded the 6.1 update 4 times now 😮💨

I've downloaded mine at least seven times it's done it every day for the last 2 weeks.

What worked for me, probably coincidental but who knows: before I had it try to install for the third time I shut the phone down in stead of restarting and then restarted it while unplugged, i.e. running off the battery, and left it alone for maybe half an hour. That worked and it finally installed properly.

S23 FE here and I'm close to switching to Apple. As much as I hate iPhone at least they don't install bloatware on your devices after you've uninstalled them like Samsung and Apple doesn't force their Voice Assistant to use their search engine. Why does Samsung insist on having Bixby open Samsung Internet when it isn't our preferred/default web browser?

Hey, I found a solution for those that the 3x update didn't work for. I updated mine up to 10 times and it still didn't work.

What did work however, was connecting it to my PC and performing the software update from Samsung smart switch. Hope this helps!
