Phone replying to messages on its own

For the last 3 weeks or so, my phone has sent replies to messages received before I even see the message. They are not the normal pre-programmed replies. My neighbor texted, "DO you have a furniture dolly?" The phone replied, "No, why?" How can I find out what's causing this?
