I'm influencer and picture/vid quality are top priority. What's the point of having such good pic/vid quality if when using 3rd party sites like Instagram the quality seemingly is reduced so bad This is why so many users are switching to Apple.

@useroL83NJCgoV

Can you explain further?  Don't all third party sites have the same policy's for either Android or Iphone?   I'm not disagreeing with you I just don't understand what you're saying.

Thanks

Your absolutely correct all third party sites have the same policy. What I am saying is that when you upload a video to instagram the video quality decreases on a Android. With Iphone the video quality stays the same. Maybe this video on YouTube will explain better https://youtu.be/ke32sgEPNsw

It is very noticeable too when I upload a video or picture from my galaxy to instagram people automatically know I have a Galaxy because of the decreased quality they even point it out in my comment section.

it's up to Instagram to optimize their software for cameras. It's not Samsung's responsibility to optimize for Instagram. My guess as to why this happens with Android is because there are so many different Android phones with different cameras, there has to be a baseline somewhere.

If you want optimal quality, I would suggest not using the camera via the IG app and instead film videos directly through the camera app on the phone. This way you can choose the quality, frame rate you want, etc. and then import that video to IG. It will turn out far better.

IG says It's android and android says it's IG. I never take pictures or videos through the app I always use my camera directly froml phonel then upload
